University Hills, Denver Colorado is a great place to live and work! I should know I lived off Eisenhower Park for a little over a year and worked in the University Hills, Welshire Plazza shopping center from 2002-2006. The community is very friendly and filled with Shopping, Restaurants and Small Business.
The Boundaries of University Hills Reach from I-25 to the East, Colorado Blvd to the West, Hampden to the South and Evans to the North. There are several neighborhoods that fall into the University Hills area and most of the homes were built in the 1950's. The 1950's charm can be seen with a lot of the original Signs and store fronts in the shopping centers.
The convenient location with all of the desired amenity's are what has made University Hills one of the most desirable places to live in Denver. With that being said it is no surprise that lots of the smaller homes are being scraped by developers to make way for mini mansions and major renovations. The average Lot size in Univesity hills is about 10,000 sq feet which beats the average suburb lot of 6,000 feet hands down. The trees in the community are very well established and give a great feeling of being home. The community in Univesity Hills is very tight nit with lots of activity's year round for Family's and Friends.
